Media Advisory: State and Local Officials to Announce the Major New Exhibit for the 2013 Great New York State Fair

On Wednesday, July 10, State Agriculture Commissioner Darrel J. Aubertine will host a press conference with state and local officials to announce a 3,000 square foot exhibit that will take up an entire wing of the Center of Progress Building at the State Fair this year.  Planning has been going on for many months and construction is set to begin.  The interactive exhibit will show fairgoers how massive local efforts are remediating Onondaga Lake, bringing wildlife species back to the area, and providing economic growth and opportunity to the region.  This will be a must-see exhibit for all fairgoers, and will bring new excitement to the Fair’s exhibition lineup.

When: Wednesday, July 10, 2012 - 10 a.m.
