Auto Show at the Fairgrounds Shows Off Top Racing Technology
Racer’s Auction a Highlight of the Parts Peddler Trade Show
Acting Commissioner of Agriculture James B. Bays today announced the following events running from Friday, November 22 to Sunday, November 24 at the New York State Fairgrounds:
Fans of all kinds of automobiles can spend a weekend talking about cars and checking out some hot racing machines at the 34th annual National Parts Peddler Trade Show 2013 opening Friday at the Center of Progress Building.
The show is organized by Parts Peddler, the national newspaper for those interested in buying, selling, and trading autos, auto parts, and related equipment. The event will feature a wide spectrum of racing vehicles and equipment, covering many auto racing styles. Vendors will offer a wide range of products. A highlight is the Racer’s Auction at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, which will see several racing vehicles sold to the highest bidder.
The show will be open on Friday from Noon – 8:00 p.m., Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Admission is $15 for a one-day pass, $25 for a two-day pass, and $30 for a pass good for all three days.
The New York State Fair, operated by the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets, runs from August 21 – September 1, 2014. The Fair’s mission is to showcase the best of New York agriculture while providing top-quality entertainment.
In addition to the annual New York State Fair, the Fairgrounds host dozens of agricultural events throughout the year, including some of the Northeast’s most prestigious horse and livestock shows.
