Obstructed View Tickets Now Available for Jason Aldean at the Great New York State Fair Grandstand

Obstructed view tickets are now available online for the Saturday, August 30 concert by Jason Aldean at the Great New York State Fair Grandstand, Troy Waffner, Acting New York State Fair Director, announced today.

There are approximately 1,200 seats in the Grandstand for which the view of the stage is at least partially obstructed by a support column.  These seats are in the second and third price levels, at $67 and $57 per seat, respectively and will go on sale at 3 p.m. today.  People will know that they are buying obstructed view tickets.  Obstructed view tickets are clearly marked on the website for online ticket sales, while those people who purchase tickets at the box office or via the toll-free phone number will be told by the ticket agent prior to purchase. In addition, those tickets have the words “Obstructed View” printed on them.  A very small number of single unobstructed seats remain for sale at all price levels.

Aldean is the current Academy of Country Music “Male Vocalist of The Year.”  He has sold more than 8.5 million albums and has notched 13 #1 hits. The Macon, Georgia native‘s current album, “Night Train,” claimed a #1 debut on the Billboard all-genre Top 200, earned Platinum certification in only four weeks and was nominated for “Country Album of the Year” at the 56th annual Grammy Awards.  Aldean rocked a sold-out audience at the Grandstand during the 2012 Fair.  His Saturday night appearance will close the Fair’s Grandstand concert series.

Aldean’s “Burn It Down Tour” brings two opening acts to the Grandstand in Florida Georgia Line and Tyler Farr.  Florida Georgia Line, newly named the ACM Vocal Duo of the Year, played to the third largest crowd in Chevy Court history last year, as an estimated 31,000 fans stood in a downpour to enjoy the show.  Farr’s single and album, both named “Redneck Crazy,” cracked the top 5 on the country single and album charts.

Tickets are available at the Fair’s official and only online ticket agent, etix.com.  Tickets can also be purchased by phone, at 1 (800) 514-3849, option 1.

Tickets remain available for the Thursday, August 21 concert by Brad Paisley, with Randy Houser, Charlie Worsham, and Leah Turner, and the Tuesday, August 26 concert by Train with The Wallflowers.
