Organic farmers and processors are eligible for a reimbursement of 75% of their annual certification fee costs not to exceed $750. The certification must be conducted by an organization accredited by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. For Processors/Handlers
At this time, there is no funding available for processor/handlers. Should funding become available, an application form will be posted on this page.
For Farmers/Producers
The reimbursement program is for farmers receiving their initial certification or renewing their certification for the period of October 1, 2012 through September 30, 2013. Applications to participate in the farmer/producer program should be submitted to the NYS Department of Agriculture and Markets as soon as possible but no later than October 31, 2013.
