Seeding Our Cities: The Future of New York’s Community Gardens and Farms
The first statewide summit of community gardening and urban farming leaders took place July 26-27 at SUNY New Paltz. Stakeholders including gardeners, urban farmers, municipal and state agencies, supporting not-for-profits, and universities participated in a rapid planning exercise to develop a collective vision and set of priorities for New York’s community gardens and urban farms.
