State of New York Agriculture Address

Thursday, January 8th at NYS Agricultural Society Meeting, Liverpool

New York State Agriculture Commissioner Patrick Hooker will present the annual State of Agriculture address to the New York State Agricultural Society tomorrow, Thursday, January 8, 2009 at approximately 7:00 pm at the Holiday Inn in Liverpool. The annual address will provide a recap of the challenges faced in 2008 and share his vision for agriculture in New York State in 2009.

All media are welcome and encouraged to attend.

WHERE: Holiday Inn Syracuse/Liverpool – Convention Center

The State of Agriculture address will be presented at the conclusion of the New York State Agricultural Society’s 177th Annual Forum, which begins at 9:00 am on Thursday, January 8, 2009 at the Holiday Inn in Liverpool. The theme of the Agricultural Society’s meeting this year is "Planning for the Future – with a Smile." All media are welcome to take part in the other events that are scheduled to take place during the day.
