Extra Tickets Available This Afternoon for Luke Bryan Concert
Reconfiguration of Stage Provides More Seats
At the request of the artist, a limited number of tickets will be made available starting at 3 p.m. today for Luke Bryan’s concert at the New York State Fair Grandstand. Bryan is changing the configuration of the runway that comes out from the stage.
The additional tickets, at $70 each, will go on sale at 3 p.m. through the State Fair Box Office and on the fair’s only official online ticket seller, etix.com. There is a $3.75 fee charged per ticket, regardless of whether it is purchased online or at the box office.
Because of the cross-shaped runway that Luke Bryan uses on his concert tour, the Fair had previously announced that approximately 900 seats in the premium seating sections would be removed for the runway. The seats being restored today are a result of the artist’s decision to change the configuration and make more tickets available for Fairgoers.
The New York State Fair runs from August 22 – September 2, 2013. The Fair’s theme is “Sharing the Bounty and Pride of New York.”
In addition to the annual New York State Fair, the Fairgrounds host dozens of agricultural events throughout the year, including some of the Northeast’s most prestigious horse and livestock shows.
The home of the Great New York State Fair is a 375-acre exhibit and entertainment complex that operates all year. A year-round schedule of events is available on the Fair’s website. Find The Great New York State Fair on Facebook or follow NYS Fair on Twitter. Also, New Yorkers are invited to send their ideas on the Great New York State Fair at firstname.lastname@example.org.
