Syracuse Thanksgiving Antiques Show at the New York State Fairgrounds This Weekend

CNY Wine & Chocolate Festival at the Fairgrounds this Saturday

Acting State Fair Director Troy Waffner today announced the following events scheduled at the New York State Fairgrounds on November 29 and 30:

The Syracuse Thanksgiving Antiques Show will take place at the New York State Fairgrounds on November 29 and 30. The event will be running from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday and will take place in the Center of Progress Building. Admission into the show is $7 for adults and seniors, while children under the age of 12 are free. The Syracuse Thanksgiving Antique Show is a tradition in Central New York that has been going on for nearly 40 years. With antiques, art and collectibles of all styles and in all price ranges, it is an excellent place to find holiday gift ideas.

The CNY Wine & Chocolate Festival will be at the Fairgrounds on Saturday, November 30. The event will take place in the Horticulture Building and will run from the hours of 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.  Admission is $20 in advance and $10 for designated drivers (plus service fees). Admission at the door is $25 and $15 for designated drivers. This is the ninth annual AmeriCU Credit Union Wine and Chocolate Festival, presented by Alex and Ani and Upstate Women’s Health Network. This Saturday you can sample wines from dozens of New York State wineries and taste delectable treats, browse fabulous gifts and listen to fantastic music from “Prime Time.” Advance tickets can be purchased online at or at any area Wegmans location.
