Pollinator Task Force to Meet
The interagency Pollinator Task Force, led by the Department of Agriculture and Markets and the Department of Environmental Conservation, will meet. The group is inviting comment from more than a dozen organizations representing agribusiness, farmers, apiculturists, environmentalists, and learning institutions on critical issues such as habitat enhancements, research and information needs, and best management practices.
The Pollinator Task Force was established by Governor Andrew Cuomo to develop a Pollinator Protection Plan to promote the health and recovery of pollinator populations in New York State.
