Agriculture Commissioner Celebrates New Grant Process to Help Farmers Protect Their Land
Saratoga PLAN Completes Projects in Record-Setting Time
The New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets holds a press conference to highlight the improved Farmland Protection Implementation Grant (FPIG) process, helping local partners and farmers across the state drastically reduce the overall timeframe to complete farmland protection projects. Saratoga PLAN is the first awardee to receive its grants using the revised contract milestones process and complete its projects.
