Three Days Grace to Rock the Chevy Court Stage at the Great New York State Fair Aug. 31

Three Days Grace

Canadian rock band Three Days Grace makes its first appearance at the Great New York State Fair’s Chevy Court stage at 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 31, Acting Fair Director Troy Waffner announced today.

Since first catapulting onto the scene in 2003, Three Days Grace has consistently connected to audiences via hard-hitting, honest, and hypnotic anthems. The platinum-selling, chart-topping, record-setting quartet continues that tradition on their fifth full-length album, “Human.”

The band has sold more than 6 million albums in the U.S. alone. Their catalog of number one hits encompasses smashes such as “Chalk Outline,” “The High Road,” “Misery Loves My Company,” “World So Cold,” “Good Life,” “Break,” “Never Too Late,” “Animal I Have Become,” “Pain,” “Just Like You,” and “Home.”

“Three Days Grace is a veteran band with a lot of great music.  This will be a fun night out for fans of rock and we are very happy to have the band as part of our best and most diverse lineup ever,” said Waffner.  Other performances previously announced for Chevy Court include:

  • Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Aug. 25 at 2 p.m.
  • Toto, Aug. 26 at 8 p.m.
  • Magic!, Aug. 27 at 2 p.m.
  • Air Supply, Aug. 28 at 2 p.m.

Chevy Court’s 23 free shows are part of the Fair’s commitment to providing the best and most diverse lineup of music available.  Each year, the Fair and its vendors provide approximately 500 free musical performances. Concerts at Chevy Court are sponsored by Chevrolet.

The New York State Fair, operated by the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets, runs from August 25 to September 5, 2016.  The Fair’s mission, reflected in its theme, “Summer’s Best in Show,” is to showcase the best of New York agriculture while providing top-quality entertainment.

In addition to the annual New York State Fair, the Fairgrounds host dozens of agricultural events throughout the year, including some of the Northeast’s most prestigious horse and livestock shows.

The home of the Great New York State Fair is a 375-acre exhibit and entertainment complex that operates all year. A year-round schedule of events is available on the Fair’s website.  Find The Great New York State Fair on Facebook, follow @NYSFair on Twitter, and enjoy photos from the Fair at Flickr.com/photos/nysfair.
