Peter Noone Brings the Great Hits of Hermanís Hermits Back to Chevy Court at the Great New York State Fair

Noone Remains One of the Fairís Most Popular Performers

Fans of the British Invasion get their wish when Herman’s Hermits Starring Peter Noone returns to Chevy Court at the Great New York State Fair at 2 p.m. Monday, August 28, Acting Fair Director Troy Waffner said.

At the age of fifteen, Peter achieved international fame as lead singer of the legendary 1960s pop band Herman’s Hermits. His classic hits included: “I’m Into Something Good,” “Mrs. Brown, You’ve Got A Lovely Daughter,” “I’m Henry VIII, I Am,” “Silhouettes,” “Can’t You Hear My Heartbeat,” “Just A Little Bit Better,” “Wonderful World,” “There’s A Kind of Hush,” “A Must To Avoid,” and many others. Ultimately, Herman’s Hermits sold over sixty million recordings.

"We get more requests to bring Peter Noone back than almost any other artist.  Herman’s Hermits’ music is timeless and Peter is a terrific performer who always has time for his fans.  We are very happy to have him back," said Waffner.

This will be the 8th appearance at the Great New York State Fair for Peter Noone, a list of performances stretching back nearly three decades.

Concerts at Chevy Court are sponsored by Chevrolet.
