Rock Band Spin Doctors to Play Free Chevy Court Show at the Great New York State Fair
Spin Doctors, the band whose hit “Pocket Full of Kryptonite” rocketed them to worldwide fame, will play a free show at 2 pm, Sunday, September 3 at Chevy Court at the Great New York State Fair, Acting Director Troy Waffner announced today.
When top-class musicianship and great songwriting meet, the result can help to define an era. Such was the case with “Pocket Full of Kryptonite,” one of the biggest smashes of the 1990s, selling over 10 million copies worldwide. Featuring hit after hit, from “Two Princes” to “Little Miss Can’t Be Wrong” and more, the original album reached #3 on Billboard’s Top 200 Album Chart and made the magazine’s Top 100 list of the best-selling albums of the decade.
“Spin Doctors bring superior musicianship and a basket of great hits to the Chevy Court stage. This will be a fun show and a terrific way to spend a Sunday afternoon at the Fair,” Waffner said.
It will be the debut appearance for Spin Doctors at the Great New York State Fair.
Spin Doctors join a star-studded and diverse lineup that includes:
- Robert Randolph and the Family Band, 2 pm, August 23
- 3 Doors Down, 8 pm, August 23
