Syracuse-Born Hip Hop Star Post Malone to Perform at Chevy Court at the Great New York State Fair

Rising hip-hop star Post Malone returns to Syracuse with several hits and a fast-rising reputation when he performs at 2 p.m. August 27 on the Chevy Court stage at the Great New York State Fair, Acting Director Troy Waffner announced.

Post Malone was born in Syracuse and moved with his family to Texas at age 10.  His 2015 single, “White Iverson,” soared into the top 20 and established him as a hip hop artist to watch.  His debut album, “Stoney,” debuted at #6 on the album charts on New Year’s Eve, 2016 and the single, “Congratulations,” hit the single, rap and R&B charts.  He has toured with and recorded with Justin Bieber and has collaborated with Kanye West and 50 Cent.

“We’re excited to bring Post Malone here for his State Fair debut.  Fans of R&B and hip hop will be glad they came to this show as they get to see what Justin Bieber and Kanye West saw in him.  This is a show that should not be missed,” said Waffner.
