First New York State Grown & Certified Local Tree Farm Providing Tree to Be Displayed in New York State Capitol
WHAT:State Agriculture Commissioner will join the Christmas Tree Farmers Association of New York to kick off the Christmas season and promote farm-fresh trees grown in New York. The event includes a tree-cutting at Emmerich Tree Farm, the first tree farm to join the New York State Grown & Certified program, and a stop at Pennings Farm Market and Cidery to promote the Hudson Valley’s top agri-tourism destinations.
