The CCE Gardening Helpline releases Winter hours.
Master Gardener Volunteers are ready to answer your garden and indoor or outdoor pest questions throughout the winter season.  Give them at call at 585-753-2555 from 9 a.m. until noon Monday, Wednesday and Friday.


NYC DOE Sustainability Mini-Grants
$5,000 - $10,000 is available in funding to support sustainability projects at all NYC schools.

$30,000 in funding is available for a total of 40 projects that support sustainability projects in underserved communities.

Captain Planet Foundation
Small grants of $500 to $2500 are available to support schools and organizations with an annual operating budget of less than $3 million. Projects being supported must have an environmental impact.

Robert Wood Johnson Foundation: Announces a Call for Proposals
A call for proposals is being made for Evidence for Action: Investigator-Initiated Research to Build a Culture of Health, which is a program supporting evidence-based research necessary to build a culture where health is central. Every year, approximately $2.2 million funds 5-12 projects each year. Many of past award recipients have integrated community gardening practices into their strategy.
